My general philosophy on reviews is that I only write positive ones, but I am making an exception today. Our flight was cancelled after we had made it through TSA and were already at the airport. Initially we were rescheduled for a flight 10 hours later. Things happen, we get that. Electrical fire on our plane this morning out of Detroit while we were in the air. Cabin filled with smoke and electrical fire smell and the plane turned around back to Detroit. Missed our connection in Amsterdam. Airline has no way to contact a family member we were meeting there to continue our travels on Delta. The agent on the “black phones” gave us incorrect information about connecting flights to our destination out of Amsterdam. We ended up being sent thru London to Paris to hopefully get to our destination. Still in ... read more
