The ability for a contracted DD provider to get information on YOUR members policy is HORRIBLE. You refuse to allow your representatives to give any information on a patients policy, even when that information is not available on the faxback AND your automated system will not give anything more than the percentage covered, no frequency. When I asked the rep where I could get a copy of the processing policies, I was told they removed them from the DOT. WOW!! How unbelievably unhelpful is that. Maybe find some competent people who know what they are doing talking to people on the phone. Talked to someone lazy there who kept saying, "sooooooooo"...so what? I'm calling you guys to get information, I don't know why she kept saying "soooooo" followed by silence. I'm calling because I have a problem, so when I call Delta Dental I expect the person to actually help me on the phone. Absolutely horrible do not use this dental insurance. Have been trying to get my plan canceled they never answer the phone so I send emails and they say they need more information but you can’t do it through email. So all the way through it’s terrible customer service. Should have looked at the reviews before this. Do not! Not! Not! Do this insurance. Especially if you have life altering changes in your life and can’t help it and can’t even get the plan canceled.
Good luck trying to get ahold of Delta dental customer service you got a better chance of winning the lottery, Delta dental doesn't even deserve one star,they suck!!!, it's a mystery how they're still in business !!!!
