I recently flew Delta DL363 from SFO to JFK, and the flight was delayed over 17 hours due to a preventable maintenance issue. Delta offered a $24 meal credit and a small e-credit. When I asked for fair compensation, they claimed DOT regulations “prevented” them from offering more—which is completely misleading. The customer care team was dismissive despite multiple follow-ups. I’ve filed a DOT complaint and am sharing this review to highlight a lack of accountability in how this was handled.
Horrible experience at a horrible airport. Forced me to rebook flights that avoid requiring them to cover a hotel after they screwed up
I guess they haven't crashed me yet...
