Fran was at the gate on Aug 24th when weather diverted my flight. Her calming voice kept us updated thru the hours and I liked her beautiful flowers in her hair and her smile while she shared Hulu dance moves with me while I waited for my flight home.

Delta tries hard when they're on the phone but their actual aircraft operations are a total failure. Late flights, oversold seats, and a general sense that traveling should be penance make Delta a difficult option in 2026. The second star is because there are, unbelievably, worse airlines.
Despite multiple 100+ passenger flights booked to take off before 6am, Delta doesn't staff their desk with more than 3 people before just before 5am. Plan to arrive at 3am to check bags for your 6am flight or else you'll be made to feel like it's your fault that the desk is understaffed for two hours in line.
