Terrible check in experience. Huge lines every time. Little to no employee support. Less than half the stations are open at any time. Avoid Delta at JFK. 3 out of 16 agent assist stations open today.
One of the slowest processes I’ve ever seen. 2 hrs from landing to being able to reticket bags and transfer. The delta staff could not care less.
The worst check in service ever !!!! The stuff is extremely rude and send us to kiosk , but we checked in and we have a child who needs desk check in! So unprofessional.
No proper start with this airline. At the desk, the staff seemed more interested in marking the exact time I arrived than actually helping me. They don’t even offer early check-in. The flight connections are also a mess nothing shows properly on the screen, so you have to figure everything out yourself, going from desk to desk. I arrived about 70 minutes before my flight, and instead of assisting me, the desk agent was rude asking why I left. I had a relative flying in from NY the plane was supposed to leave at 6pm from NY. The flight did not take off till 11:30 pm! Which caused him to get in at 1:30am. This is unacceptable!! It is not that hard to be on time. I am 10 minutes early for everything I do!! No one in my family will ever fly delta again. We would have been better off using spirit!!
