We go there often. The inside staff are quite pleasant. Importantly, to me, most of the time someone there has worked on, or tried to solve the same issues I face so they can offer advice. I have learned to check the hay over on the warehouse dock before going in to buy it. The warehouse staff who help load the truck are kinda hit and miss in terms of temperament and dedication. But we do keep going back.

The staff is knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge with customers. I'm a greenhorn cattle farmer and your employee Lu was immeasurably helpful to me. Her experiences in the field I'm entering and her willingness to share those with me are 90% of the reason I'm a repeat customer. Since my first contact with her, I've been back to Del's and bought merchandise twice and will continue to do so. Purchased orchard grass from Del's three times for my goats. The first time: Quick loading of the truck, pretty average price, good quality. Not a single complaint. The second time: I needed delivery. Paid a (rather steep) delivery fee. Said they'd call when they were headed my way. Never called. They delivered the bales to a house about a block away from mine. Just dumped it in their driveway. So I had to haul the bales (up-hill) to my place... then go back and clean up the mess they made in the neighbors driveway (an apolo... read more
