Had a positive encounter with Matt coming to assess and quote on a ducted air conditioning replacement. He said he’s get back to me within two weeks. Unfortunately I never heard from Matt or anyone from the Delmar team ever again. He has not replied to calls or follow up emails (except for an automated email to say he’d gone on holiday). The customer service team who were previously receptive did not reply either. Such a shame, if you don’t want the business then a simple call would be courteous. I had searched and contacted several companies to change our ducted Daikin system. Matt provided professional advice with a very reasonable quote. The team worked efficiently and they did a great job.
Matt and the team are exceptional. Had a ducted system installed in an old Federation era home in Stanmore. Matt was top notch in terms of the quoting process - very knowledgeable, pragmatic, worked with us to tailor a solution that worked best for our needs, and is an all round gentleman. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Delmar Air has been nothing short of appalling, both in terms of installation quality and after-sales service. I had a Daikin air conditioning unit installed by Delmar, and within six months, it developed a refrigerant leak due to improper installation, as confirmed by their own technician. After a repair, the unit failed again with the same error code (U0), meaning the issue was either never properly fixed or the unit itself is faulty. What’s worse is Delmar’s complete... read more
