I’ve rented multiple U-hauls and have never had an issue. I go to pick up my rental today and was met with the nastiest person ever. It’s the same guy from everyone else’s comments. My drivers license is valid and from NJ as I am moving to Delaware. First off, he doesn’t even say hello. He looks at my license and says I cant use it because it says not for real ID purposes…. Real ID is for flying and he pulled that out of his ass because I wasn’t white, I will be taking legal action.
This guy refused to give me the motorcycle U-Haul trailer that I reserved because he couldn’t find my cars towing capacity online. Let me clarify: -I have a U-Haul trailer hitch installed at a U-Haul dealer “I don’t care, they’ll install on anything” -I was trying to show him multiple websites stating my cars towing capacity being 2,000lbs “I don’t care, if I can’t find it through google then I’m not giving you the trailer” -To rent a trailer on U-Haul you have to input your year and make of vehicle, and through that they ge... read more
