I've been her patient for a few years now. She helped me get my chronic conditions under control and has addressed every issue I've ever brought up without delay. Always does what she says she's going to do, and is willing to help me understand without talking down to me. I've been sensitive about that with other doctors in the past, so it's very much appreciated.
Impressed at first. Very welcoming to discuss methods of treatment. Then... Not sure what happened. Perhaps the "system" got at her or maybe she became too idealistic for her own good, but she became focused too heavily on cause than symptom. In most cases, symptoms are harder to deal with than cause, but DF doesn't want to treat that. In the meantime, you'll suffer until you discover a resolution. Had a really bad experience.I have horrible anxiety and panic attacks and was filled with hope and courage after 10 years of not having a primary doctor and decided to make an appointment for my husband and I. May have been a mistake on my on but was told to come in together for our appointment. Apparently mine was thirty minutes before my husbands and there was no rescheduling or any form of forgiveness just leave and don't come back. I cried as I left and felt totally broken. Wish it could have gone differently.
Marvelous physician assistant
Delaney has been a breath of fresh air to the medical field in Olean! I had been having nerve issues with both hands, being told by an orthopedic Dr that it was arthritis and no need for an MRI. Delaney looked me in the eyes, asked some questions and told me what the problem was and ordered an MRI to confirm. She was spot on, and it was actually worse than she thought.
