Always get good service
What happened?! I've been to this location many times, in the past, and it's always been great. Tonight, orders were very slow to be fulfilled and when I finally got mine, I received the wrong flavor drink AND the wrong burrito. I hate docking stars for one of my favorite fast food haunts, but this visit definitely fell short of expectations.
I was waiting for my order tonight and saw the person making burritos pull down their cell phone, type something, put the phone back on the shelf, and then continue making burritos without changing gloves. They did it multiple times. There's no way the other employees working around him didn't see him doing it. I'm a little worried about the fact that everyone in the kitchen seemed OK with it. It's gross and I'm sad because this is the only Del Taco nearby. I don't know if we'll come back.
Del Taco understands something the other late-night taco place refuses to admit: burritos matter. And these burritos? Better. Fuller. More emotionally supportive. Service is fast-ish, which is the correct speed for fast food and entirely dependent on how intense the drive-thru line is at the moment. Sometimes you’re in and out.
