UPDATE: 07/30/26 (Two years later) Declining Quality, Ineffective Management, and Constant Alarms – Look Elsewhere If you look back at the original review I left when I first moved in, you will see that my experience at this property has consistently gone downhill. The building itself is incredibly outdated, and the current management team is highly ineffective when it comes to properly handling resident concerns. Best thing about this place is the location, just down the street from the heart of Del Ray, plenty of great restaurants, farmer's markets on the weekends, good schools nearby, etc. Building is pretty quiet, you can hear everything in the hallway but not much from the apartments on the other side of the wall. Maintenance requests are usually timely and the technicians are competent and polite. The bad: fire alarm goes off constantly, and it is DEAFENING. No idea why they have such a big problem with this. I lived at Del Ray Central for two years and loved it. It was my first apartment and I already miss it after moving out just a week ago! The pros: The property is in a great area with lots to do, is VERY quiet, and the residents are kind. I was able to use the amenities at the Tower (rooftop, nice gym/studio, kitchen) even though I lived across the street. I also had an un-renovated unit, but the flooring and finishes were nice. The Tower is a fantastic place to live with an amazing staff. Christina and the amazing and excellent facilities staff are one of a kind. Every need is met with care and attention. It’s a great place to live with a great concierges services, fun events, and a lovely neighborhood.
