There's something particularly disappointing about returning to a restaurant you loved, only to discover that your second visit isn't quite as magical as the first. I'd been to Del Mar earlier this year with a colleague and had such a wonderful experience that I decided to return when work brought me back to Columbus. Calm, friendly, elegant place.
Del Mar at Easton delivers a phenomenal dining experience on the plate, but the front-of-house service left a lot to be desired. The kitchen earns a full 5 stars. Every dish was executed with the high culinary standard you expect from a Cameron Mitchell concept with incredible flavors, fresh ingredients, and excellent presentation.
