An emission inspection station open past 5pm??? Unheard of, but not any more. This station is tucked away behind the Chevron gas station and is open until 7 pm during the week!! This fits perfectly into my schedule and cuts down on me having to search for a station on Saturdays. Gary was super friendly and had me in and out in under 10 minutes. Thanks, Gary, for reducing my stress with this inspection. See ya next year!
I had a very odd experience here. Personally, I was surprised that the man working here asked me to exit my vehicle. I’ve never been asked to get out of my vehicle for an emissions test, and quite honestly, it made me uncomfortable because I have personal belongings in my car that I wasn’t prepared to not have sight of. He had me sit in a rickety chair in the direct sunlight in 94° heat, so that really pissed me off.
