I had a knee issue. Went to DOSM for the first time. I saw Shannon Hilley. He was very thorough with the way he treated me. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He treated me and a day after my knee issue is on the mend. If there is anything else that I need I will definitely see Shannon again. One negative issue on my first visit was the forms required to fill out for your initial visit. They ask questions and there is no room for the answers. I have had meniscus repair done for both of my knees and Dr. Hester did an awesome job on both! Shannon also did a great job with follow up appointments. I would definitely recommend DeKalb Orthopedics to family and friends. They truly care about getting you better!

my 4 y/o broke his wrist and was supposed to get his cast off but he was terrified and wouldn't sit still, the nurse offered to get help to hold him still and i said sure, the nurse she brought in didn't even do anything so i said can you just take the xray with the cast on? and we'll come back another day to get it off. she told me no and that i'd have to reschedule completely, fine not her fault. so as im consoling my 4 y/o the front desk employee says no you should be able to get the picture done. then we go back again to... read more

I broke my ankle in 2 places. Dr. Hester did a wonderful job. Shannon Hilley helped me after surgery! He was kind, caring, and compassionate. I had to learn how to walk again, and Mr. Hilley talked me through the process. Then I had to learn how to drive. I am now going back for my knees. I definitely recommend them for your needs. D. S.
