The only thing this office did good was inform my family that my loved one has passed and even with that there was no genuine “sorry for your loss.” From the receptionist to the two different medical examiner officers I spoke with my experience at the DeKalb office has been very disheartening. There is a huge disconnect, lack of empathy and compassion for the families that just lost loved ones.
