We have the utmost respect for 1st responders, but this morning when my mom had to call 911 because my dad was unresponsive and he is a bad diabetic, but these 2 guys that are supposed to be medical professionals & care & help people were the RUDEST we have ever seen. My dad is 75 years old & was UNRESPONSIVE their response time for this morning was ONE HOUR, ONE freaking HOUR to get to where we live in Adamsburg which is a 17-minute drive to Fort Payne from our house. Over $500 to go 2.1 miles to the hospital. They should have also brought me back home for that price. I'll just crawl to the hospital if I ever have to go again. And one of their Privileged employees comes by my house on the highway right around 9 am every day they work and runs their lights and siren when not even dispatched on a call.
