I waited a month for records to be sent to this office. When they received them, I was informed that they did not accept my insurance and did not accept private pay patients. Possibly this should have been mentioned when I first called the office. The office staff was very rude on the phone, each time I called. Several times I was on hold for up to 30 minutes. Being new to the Savannah area, they did not offer to assist me in any way. My urgency to find a doctor was dealt with very unprofessionally.

THIS IS LAUGHABLE.... You can NOT diagnose Diabetes through a urine test. Just the fact you stated something so outrageous makes me wonder if you saw Dr. Dehaven at all.

You are just the means to a new boat or retirement fund!! The office staff is cool at the most and so is he..no real hands-on if he can help it--spent about 10 mins with me, gave me an appt for 8 mos out, I forgot about the appt [life happens] and receive a bill for $20--when i called to ask about it, Sandy said that it was policy and they do not send out reminders even though they know you may forget--they count on you forgetting!! They do not send out reminders but they will send out a bill for his money! He does not care ... read more

Dr. DeHaven, I thought, was the guru of diabetes and endocrine problems, but he missed my hypothyrodism and diabetes diagnosis. I regret that I spent so many years with him and he neglected to diagnose thyroid disease and type 1 diabetes. He knew diabetes ran in my family,but it slipped through his hands.
