My family grew up eating DeFelice pizza! Every time I go home or my parents come to Columbus they bring me DeFelice pizza! My husband grew up in Columbus and loves my hometown pizza! We were in Newark for a visit and we decided to try the DeFelice in Newark on our drive back. The pizza was ready before the quoted time which was great! It tasted just like home! Amazing quality pizza and service. The staff was very polite and informative about how they handle their gluten free options for people with allergies. Would take the whole place back to where I came from if I could
To be fair I only tried the pan style pizza. Didn't care for that style, but it wasn't my order. Taste was good, I will try another style.
Smelled excellent but we did not know it was carry out only. The hotel didn't mention it.
