The guys here deliberately screwed up the adjustment on my gears - surprisingly, as I was there out of curiosity & not as a customer. I can only assume this was an attempt to create the need for a service. These guys are terrible, quite pleased to see they've closed.
This is exactly what a local Bike shop should be, Stu and his team always deliver in all areas of the business, so much so i will always purchase and service through Defcon. Stu always finds a way to help the customer. whether its your first time in the store or 100th. This is why i will always recommend Defcon Cycles to anyone i meet. Don't like to give bad reviews to anybody but this is just out of pure frustration. Not a good experience, ordered bike and did not get any updates until I contacted Stu 35 days after paying deposit and still no bike or even estimated delivery date. Quick to get my deposit, lack of communication, excuses and slow to return the deposit (still waiting...). I am in Melbourne so even more frustrating as I am spending an awful amount of time chasing Stu by phone/email.
