These guys lie and overcharge and other things will be broken when you come to pay. Read everyone elses reviews you can tell this is pretty common.
These guys are crooks took my truck in for a inspection. They said it would take a day. It took them a week and they lost my fan shroud on the top of my truck and the light i came to pick and it didnt start. My gut sank then i felt like they was something fishy i left because i needed the truck for delivery i decided to come back and give them a try for replacing a radiater and to change out a thermostat. I took my truck in, and told them exactly what the problem was; I was losing turbo boost due to exhaust, and/or intake leaks on the turbo. They 'fixed' it by removing the turbo wastegate actuator, and wiring it shut. This 'fix' resulted in no boost at all when I got it back. I inspected the actuator, and it appeared good, I took it back to Rick Cortez, who then changed the story from it being broken, to being frozen, and non adjustable due to rust.... There are simply NO WORDS to describe how bad this place is. The owner is a liar and a rip off artist. He is rude and does sloppy horrible work.He never finishes the work either. He demands money up front and never finished the work. We took our beautiful truck there and he has reduced it to junkyard status. AVOID AVOID AVOID 5/14/15 STILL do not have my truck. He has had it longer than I did. Hes such a rude horrible person. AVOID at all costs!
LIES! I was lied to, They ripped me off!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!! I was told a price to bleed my brakes, they had my truck for 3 days and they when I went to get it since they never called me they charged me TWICE what we agreed on, They threatened to take my truck!!! They would not let me text drive it to make sure it was fixed!! IT WAS THE SAME AS WHEN I CAME IN!! THIS SHOP IS A SCAM!
Took my truck to get diagnosed by young man Danny. Smartest young man i have ever talk to. knew exactly what i was talking about. took the time to explain how everything works. Took me away from Strictly diesel. He promised to be done same day and saved me hundreds of dollars. thanks deer valley diesel for your help and your employees to get job done right and fast when i most needed.
The two review listed (until I post mine) are exactly the same so they only have one good review and now one bad. I was overcharged and could not deal with the owner's rudeness. Evidently he didn't want the thousands of dollars I was going to spend on repairs. Steer clear of this shop.
