The counselor kept falling asleep during every 50-minute session. The sessions did not always start at my scheduled time, which is understandable. However, they ended at the scheduled time. From the 1st session to the very last session (#4), the counselor was asleep 20 minutes into each and every session. Thankfully, I wasn't there for issues relating to low self-esteem, otherwise had that been the case, seeing that counselor sleeping during my "counseling" would have sent me into an emotional abyss.
I had three sessions with Deer Valley Counceling. The counselor I spoke with was Sandra Nettles. I walked out of my last session today BECAUSE, Ms. Nettles stated that, "she is 77 years old and doesn't need my money." That is Not Professional nor something that should be said to paying clients. They advertise as PTSD specialist, but are not. I'm a retired Army Infantryman that called and set up my inital appointment for PTSD assistance. Do not waste time looking for help here.
