Our favorite place
The experiences with the animals was very entertaining for my grandkids. There was a nice variety, but I thought the cost per visitor was a little bit high at $20, and then having to purchase the animal food on top of that. The grandkids really enjoyed the play areas though. They were well designed climbing play areas. If you are going there through lunchtime, however, I would advise that you pack a lunch and leave it in your car and have a picnic in the parking lot. This is a great place to visit if you have kids under the age of ten. Lots of fun, interactive activities on one side (many involve animals) and a drive thru safari on the other. Both can be done in a day, but plan on at least 3-6 hours. Our grandkids love Deer Tracks Junction--they love holding guinea pigs, rabbits and feeding the parakeets. Another fun adventure are the many tunnels kids can crawl through--bring a small flashlight to make first-timers feel more at ease. This is clean, wholesome fun at its best.
We loved it. So many different animals. It was amazing.
