Buyer Beware!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Deer pond auto has a great staff lead by a cheating, manipulating, con-artiest. Wolves in sheep's clothing!!!! Don't be surprised when Jim says one thing and does another, quotes you one price then over charges, fixs things that don't need fixing, doesn't ask permission YET expects to get paid for the "fix". What a Dishonest Business!!!!! I wouldnt even begin to give this establishment a review, they dont deserve any satisfaction whatsoever. They are complete scam artists! They didnt even fix one of the issues that was origionally needed to be fixed. they charged an OUTRAGEOUS price for a muffler when i didnt even need one that badly. I then resarched prices online and the difference was in the hundreds of dollars. They did unneccessary maintinence on my vehicle that lost me money. IF you like your Car Do NOT bring it here I wish I could give this place a minus 5 star review. That would be too good for them. The guy that owns the place is a world class jerk of the highest magnitude. My experience there should be on 20-20, sixty minutes or , front line and the Globe spotlight team. Scam Artists This place is a total scam! and I'm being totally objective. 1) They didn't fix the problem with the car. 2) They changed the labor rates by $10.00 from the agreed rate when we picked up the car. 2)We got the car back with a different problem, check engine soon light on 3) they tried to charge us for checking the car again for the new problem. 4) they aggressively pestered us to get the new problem fixed.
Satisfied Customer I have been bringing my vehicles to Deer Pond solely for almost a decade. I have never experienced any level of the disreputable dealings you fear when having your vehicle repaired. Pricing is always fair, competitive and appropriate for the work done. Further, the work is guaranteed by the owner of the shop. I refer Deer Pond to family and friends when they need repairs and will continue to rely on the expertise and professionalism I experience there.
thumbs-up deer pond deer pond auto has been my repair shop for the last 17 years. deer pond auto has always fixed my vehicle problems at the least cost to me i know that because i did take my vehicle to the dealer and they were very expensive and they never fixed the problem.deer pond auto has some of the smartest mechanics in new England.also deer pond auto has raised their hourly labor rate twice in the last 10 years and i think that's very fair .specially when they are about $50.00 cheaper than the dealer ship.
Years ago tried to get my Harley inspected, back before it was mandated that bikes get inspected at bike shops only - guy refused to give me a sticker, because I had a Kuryakyn LED rear tail light that upon initial application of the brake, would flash rapidly 3x for increased visibility / safety. Gave me a hard time about it, then wasted 20 minutes of my time with some BS story about his buddy that works at the MA RMV in Boston that he was going to call and ask about this. even after spending around $3000.00 for maintenance for 2 vehicles in the past 3 months, I brought one of them back for no headlights. they replaced 2 15 amp fuses ( .35 each) and 2 bulbs ( 9.00 ea.) my cost; $ 192.00 !!! even a dealer would'nt treat you like that!!! never again!
