I'd like to personally respond to the two negative reviews below. "Chris G" is the son of a man who I have treated in my office for the better part of 20 years, who replaces his eyeglasses on a 2-3 year basis, and prefers better quality eyeglasses with changeable tint lenses with antireflective treatment and scratch resistance. He spent about $600 for two pairs of bifocal eyeglasses, and his son seems to think that's too much even though dad was very happy with his purchase and continues to return to me for vision care. DONT TRUST. They take advantage of the elderly and sell them expensive frames that they absolutely don't need and trick them into it. Father paid over $600 for to pairs of glasses - what a joke. They should be ashamed
I've been a patient of Dr. Schiff for many years. He's a great eye doctor and always takes the time and effort to make sure my glasses and contact lenses fit right. I have recommended many people to go to him and they think he's wonderful. To the other poster who said he called her "stupid" I highly doubt that! When someone wears their contact lenses for so long that they get an infection it IS stupid and maybe he said that to you to try to get you to replace them as you're supposed to but that's because he cares and sometim... read more
The staff was so nice, very welcoming. I had made an appointment to get antibiotics for an eye infection and his office was closest to my house and it was my first time. I admit it was my fault for causing the infection, however it doesn't give the practitioner the right to call me "stupid". I'm young and yes, you can call me irresponsible, but I've never been to him before and he shouldn't be saying hurtful things. Professional Vision care, best I've had to date – Dr Schiff took the time to provide a comprehensive and thorough eye examination and answered any questions I had. The glasses were great and I have never seen better than this. I recommend his office and services to everyone in the area, and it's even worth a trip if you don't live close by. -Robert
