Absolutely horrible school district for any parent that has an Autistic child. They MADE ME put my son in South Oaks in first grade for over a week because they didn't know how to handle him, and got CPS involved, so I had NO CHOICE but to comply!(he was no danger to himself or others) The following summer break, they INSISTED I put my son in STONEY BROOK ON THE CHILDS MENTAL WARD FOR A MONTH!!! have been working on pre-k student applications that came in the beginning of august since the beginning of august. called and left voicemails for new enrollments and calls were NEVER returned (since the beginning of august) calls today to be told that they are STILL working on the beginning of august and it’s august the 31st. and my kids won’t be able to start school until a day or a week later. the administration office is CLEARLY not doing their jobs. and won’t process your kids information even though you’ve had all of t... read more
