On June 30, 2025 Thumper, a dwarf bunny, died from a heart attack at home. I don’t know if anyone could have saved Thumper’s life then, but his regular vet and vet office didn’t even try. The two emergency vet clinics my family took Thumper to did their absolute best, having to look up emergency rabbit care, and gave us two more days with him. Thumper’s regular vet was supposed to take over his care that Monday, but they refused to saying, “they were too full.” The only acknowledgeable rabbit vet in Red Deer refused to take ... read more

Deer Park Vet Hospital and Dr. Grant have shown me exactly who he really is like lazy: selfish, inconsiderate, and only there when it’s convenient for him My dog Smudge was their patient for nearly a decade — every surgery, every checkup, every vaccination — all handled there. I believed they cared. I was wrong. On Monday evening, Smudge became seriously ill. He was rushed to emergency, where he was placed on IV fluids to stay hydrated. They told us they didn’t have the ultrasound equipment until later in the week. First thi... read more

My senior cats have always received exceptional care at Deer Park Vet. The front end staff are very welcoming, and Dr. Pasma, Dr. Graves and Dr. Grant are all compassionate, attentive and knowledgeable. I'm very grateful to have such honest, kind and highly quality vet care for my aging pets. *When I've had to compare costs and procedures to other vets, Deer Park is also more affordable.
