I love it there. I was very fortunate to hear Thich Nhat Hanh speak in the great hall at Deerpark. I will never forget that day what he said to everyone and to the universe. It was pure Love and compassion. his smile is all i need
I love Deer Park. I have been going fairly regularly since 2008. It has been life changing. I now live in Washington State and have yet to find a Sangha close to me. But I still have close friends from my Sangha in San Diego that I am in contact with. Deer Park has been a saving grace for me in a challenging time in my life. Deer Park is one of my favorite places in Southern California, the peaceful atmosphere and numerous trails, not to mention the welcoming monks, are all what make this place so special
