Doctor Sharma is wonderful, but UAB Billing is trash! I had a baby at UAB with Anthem BCBS insurance and Anthem is denying the claim saying it wasn't medically necessary for baby to stay in the NICU. UAB says I owe $47k. UAB Billing doesn't help fix the insurance billing codes to get anything covered.
So kind and caring! Open to alternative treatment options and listens to her patients. Goes out of her way to care for and check on patients inpatient and out.
