The Dr just hung up on me when I about what the ETA is for sending a Prior Authorization. This is after the woman, Carol, who is in charge of scripts passed the phone to Dr because she wasn’t successful with moving the goal post. Dr. DeSilva called me regarding a letter I wrote to her about my experience at her office. She explained her side of the situation as I patiently listened. I began to respond to clarify myself. She immediately interrupted me, spoke over me and was insistent on simply getting her point across. I asked her if she could please allow me to speak as I had not interrupted her. Dr. DeSilva is a fantastic physician. She explained very clearly how I would be successful in my journey on a healthy weight loss plan. She is very straightforward yet compassionate. Her advice has been extremely helpful. The office staff (Carol) is also very caring and attentive.
