Dr. Tewari has been very caring towards us. Her assistant Olivia was very patient and helpful over the phone also getting us the information we needed and helping to facilitate communication between us and Dr Tewari.
If I could give her 0 stars I would. First, we were treated horribly by one of the medical assistants. I should have walked out then. Upon entering Dr. Tewari’s office, she barely looked up from her computer screen. This was our first time meeting her. Everytime I tried to talk, she would cut me off and was completely condescending towards us. Her only solution to my baby’s GI issues was to use drugs. I love her. Both my boys went to her. She was so amazing Both of my boys did different procedures. She calmed me down and I was even able to stay with my son till he fell asleep.
Horrible experience with her! I was referred by my daughter's peds. My daughter is having a weight issue which concerns me. We were asking her questions that were of concern to us, and her response was "I am not a magician !" like wth! She proceed to talk without allowing us to talk anymore. She definitely didn't calm my concerns and didn't gave us a sense of relief. We definitely looking for another GI group that meet the standard of patient centered care. Worst experience ever. Called on call Dr Tewari for assistance in what to do for my newborn that is clearly having a GI issue and refusing her bottle for awhile due to reflux and she tells me this is for true emergencies only? Excuse me you are her GI group and you are supp to help your patients. I will be looking for a new group. HORRIBLE and I am a nurse.
