A bunch of friends and I go to see Marty and his son up in Deep Wood Rentals every year, for the past 8 years, and each time, its better than the last. Marty is a very nice host and stays out of your way and responds quickly if something is needed. Truly, this is a gem of a place in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest. Inside of cabin was OK. Outside / firepit area was awful. The scenic view from the front was the camp office and camp dumpsters. Thanks to the dumpsters, we were visited by mama bear and her three cubs. To the back were mounds of dirt and a garage filled with junk. Were also suspecting bad well water. My trip ended after day one because of a stomach bug. By the end of the trip, 4 of us had a stomach bug. Also, there are no trout fishing streams close. STAY ELSEWHERE!
I just recently stayed at the deepwoods cabin. It was a nice get away and enjoy the deep woods and the cabins is very well equipped and very comfortable......
