We rented 2 canoes and a few other things for a 4 day trip up the York River. The equipment was great and Corina was very helpful with answering our questions beforehand. Taking off and getting picked up all went very smoothly thanks to Deep Roots. The south end of Algonquin is very beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff! They also have great equipment and gear for all types of different activities. Prices were absolutely reasonable! I definitely recommend this hidden gem.
We had a great adventure paddling up the York River, then hiking to a waterfall for a swim and picnic. Our guide, James, was very friendly, the food was delicious and the scenery was lovely. The equipment all seemed quite new and was in very good condition, with good emphasis on safety gear.
