The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Pyrology is the backbone of Bastrop, and you should check out their art gallery too.
They drive a custom-wrapped cybertruck with “Pyrology” plastered across the back, and that tells me everything I need to know about the place.
Horrible communication. Extremely unprofessional. I dropped off a piece back in February for them to fix. After about a month and not hearing anything back, we called multiple times and no answer. After about 2 months we finally get ahold of them and they apologized for the delay and lack of communication. Looks like they do cool work, but it's not really open to the public. One building has a sign to go to the other building. The other building has a sign with a phone number on it. We called and no one answered. We left a message and no one returned our call. Makes me wonder what the actual process is for people trying to get something cast. Oh well, I guess I'll never know.
Amazing work! Mr Matt gave us a short but highly enlightening tour. Absolutely artesian level work.
