My daughter and I had the best time in Niger Canyon! It was her first canyoning trip and she absolutely loved it. We were smiling the whole way through, the photos don’t come close to how amazing it is in real life. Our guide Tomas was awesome and knowledgeable of the area and made sure we were having a great time the whole trip. The tea, biscuits, and lunch were such a nice touch too. I recommend this experience!
WOW! Tomas was A-mazing. I have been a casual rock climber for 30 years and Tomas took my son and I to the "intermediate" experience and it was AWESOME. His father was a "canyoner" (spelling?) and he has been doing this since he was a kid, IT SHOWED, his skill level was top-notch, he literally was making triple-redundant protections for us with ropes and setting backup in case of any issues- raised our confidence level big time! We gave him a hefty tip and would go back in a heartbeat. You are LUCKY if you get TOMAS!
Hubby and I did the Big Nige for his birthday, neither of us had done abseiling or cannoning before and were both in our mid fifties, but so pleased we done it. Our guide Tomas was amazing, so friendly and a really skilled guide, we felt safe the whole time. It’s challenging and a lot of fun. Highly recommend this activity for thrill seekers!! Thanks Tomas for being so patient and just going at our pace!
We did a trip with Deep Canyon and it was wet and wild! Remy, our guide, was great! The hike up is tough but worth it!
Big Nige, what a canyon for a first timer!! We had everything from slides, to big jumps and abseils! We were the only group in it so it felt like a private canyon amongst the beautiful nature of Mt Aspiring. Tomas was a great guide with 100% focus on safety and he knew the canyon feature by heart. Thanks Deep Canyon for a wonderful day and truly private experience!
