The director of this centre needs to review his/her staff that is employed at this centre from all the negative reviews that has been received. This is not the norm to have such poor rating. Dr Birra needs a review. She is obnoxious, unhelpful, uncommunicative and indifferent about patients. I recommend anyone needing to see a doctor to avoid her. Unfortunately have to agree with other reviews here that Dr Birra is not a good GP. I have seen her many times and am not necessarily expecting my GP to be wonderfully kind and lovely, but I do expect them to know about how to help me as their patient. She has given me the wrong medication multiple times and clearly couldn't have cared less when I told her it wasn't working, even after months of trying. If I could give negative stars i would, first of all the gp was very rude and seemed dismissive of me, then after one week of doing what she said— I’m still sick. Don’t trust the gp and don’t waste your time going here and just get dismissed in a minute.
Before visiting this medical centre, I read through the reviews. However, due to being in a rush and unable to find any available GP close to my area, I decided to give this clinic a chance. The receptionist was polite and helpful. I was informed that the clinic only accepts walk-ins and that there was only one doctor available that day, Dr Birra. I’ve been here several times and they have been very efficient and helpful. The people leaving reviews and referring to the age and ethnicity of staff should be ashamed of themselves. I would say the clientele in Ashfield are an issue, the doctors are good
