This is the best food I've had in Champaign. Once we tried it for the first time, we were back in less than 24 hours. Their Italian beef is better than any I've had in Chicago; the beef to bread ratio is perfect. We also tried the arancini which was made fresh. They operate out of Cracked during specific days/hours, so make sure you take the time to try this place out!
Just an amazing, handcrafted sandwich. You can tell its some top notch quality from the moment you see it and bite into it. Definitely the best bread I’ve had with an Italian Beef, usually places cheap out here, but Dee-Dee’s bread is a game-changer. Dee-Dee's is awesome! Walked in this weekend after seeing a sign outside that noted they sell Arancini. As a Chicago native, seeing somewhere selling beefs nearby definitely caught my eye. When I walked in, the vibes were immediately awesome with good food and nice guys working the front. I had the Parmesan chicken cutlet sandwich, the meat arancini, tiramisu and a Sicilian Lemonata. Everything I had was so delicious and the owners were so nice! 10/10 would recommend. I am definitely going back soon!
These are hands down some of the best arranchini I have ever had! Great food with an even better backstory, Dee-Dee’s has the best food on Green street!
I've been meaning to try this place for months, but the limited hours kept me from trying until tonight. Good God that sandwich was incredible. I broke my diet due to having a really bad day, and I swear on my life I had tears going down my face by the 2nd bite.
