DeckTec replaced our old patio years ago and have been maintaining its beautiful wood every year. We had interviewed several companies before selecting them and have been extremely pleased with the results.

What DeckTec did to my once beautiful deck is deplorable and has ruined my outdoor space. The deck is a disaster, the stain is uneven, heavy & pooled in some areas, completely uneven and very unfinished. The whole deck will need to be fully restored, it will cost us a ton to undo the work they did. What in the world stain did you use??!! Absolutely awful experience with this business. We are going to have to hire another company to sand and re-stain the entire deck. We have used DeckTec for a few years and they always tend to over communicate and over complicate with a slew of phone calls and emails but this final experience was almost like a practical joke. They used the wrong stain, applied it unevenly and then didn’t do the vertical surfaces because as the manager Nikole says “There is no mention of vertical surfaces in the proposal.” The vertical wood op... read more
