Deck Dogs did a great job replacing our tired old deck with a beautiful new one! They were easy to work with and provided excellent service.
Deck Dogs is awesome. We had a complicated rebuild of a 1990s era deck that was functional in moving people, but narrow and hard to navigate with multiple levels. Chris’ vision was super - he envisioned one level, moving into (and rebuilding) our porch. the space is more generous and much more usable - we’re already out there more this year than previous years. Quick, efficient demolish and rebuild of deck. Would recommend.
I hired Deck Dogs to convert an old wooden deck into a fully framed, screened-in porch. This was a complex structural build from the ground up, requiring the removal of old concrete footings, digging and pouring new footings, building a brand-new structural foundation, and reconfiguring the stair footprint with a new landing. Initial engagement was promising; Angie scheduled a prompt on-site estimate. However, the appointment time passed with no show. I followed up via two texts, an email, and a voicemail, but received no response. While the company has high ratings for their workmanship, their logistics and communication in the Merrimac area failed completely in this instance. If the location was outside their service area, that should have been vetted and communicated upfront rather than resorting to ghosting.
