Deckbuilders added a beautiful cedar pergola to our backyard four years ago. It is my happy place. Weather permitting I start my mornings sitting under the pergola with my coffee and two dogs. Adding review now to note the strong construction practice of Deckbuilders team. Neighborhood experienced EF02 tornado recently. All my trees are down, several fell on pergola. Pergola still standing strong.

Great work, very fast and easy to work with. Helped us out with a bad install. He was even willing to come out and check out our issues in the pouring rain straight from church
Highly recommend. First, they replaced a 28 year old deck with treated pine. Everything was replaced with top quality materials. Water proofing layer and flashing to protect the house/siding. 6x6 post (previous 4x4) and poured concrete footings. All deck boards screwed down. Gate, to get under the deck, is well made. Could not ask for better workmanship and post-installation clean-up. Well worth the price and completely satisfied.
I hate it when someone gives a 5 star rating and it was mediocre performance. I hate to use contractors and will do as much work myself as possible because I have high standards and usually am disappointed when using contractors. The only reason I hired contractors to replace my deck and stairs and landing is because my deck bottom is over 20 feet high so I couldn’t build the deck by myself.
