Disappointed with Patient Access – Not Accepting New Patients Unfortunately, my experience with Deception Bay Doctors has been quite frustrating. I’ve called multiple times over the past few months trying to become a new patient, and each time I was told to “call back in a couple of weeks.” After several attempts, I was finally told they’re not taking on new patients at all—and there’s no waiting list either, which makes it even more frustrating. Finally found a good doctor Saw Dr Lucy today and finally got a diagnosis for an issue I've had for more than a month! After being misdiagnosed at the medical centre many times , I'm finally getting the right medication and will now get better 🙌
1,5 hour waiting to be seen by a doctor. What is the point if booking an appointment? Sick as a dog and having to wait 1,5 hourpast your booked appointment is unexceptionable! Shouldn't charged anymore after patients waiting for more than 30min after their booked appointment, would be intreating to see if the waiting period would be that long!
Best doctors I have been with in years. After my childhood doctor retired I was left drifting between surgeries trying to find a good doctor. I started coming to Deception Bay Doctors 5 years ago. I am always listened to and they have helped me get on top of some chronic health issues other doctors had ignored previously. Highly recommended.
