I phoned to ask how I could establish care for my dog, as we just moved to Vail. The woman who answered the phone could not understand English. I repeated the same thing 3 times and she asked me to “just repeat the important things. Then asked me if I wanted to board my dog. I gave up. I think the world of Dr Deb, as she cared for my dog when I lived in Vail 17 years ago, but if the staff can’t understand English how does that work?
Called 10 different VCA hospitals this morning trying to get my dogs 4 staples removed. I am homeless and living off of welfare currently,, all the VCAs denied my dog care without an exam fee ($50) and i simply cant afford that right now but the staples needed to be removed. The receptionist was unbelievably nice and told me to come in and that they would work with me. I highly recommend Dr. Deb and her staff. I have been using them for years now, they are caring, compassionate, ethical, and most of all knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to help out.
We were just visiting Avon for one night and our pet suddenly got very sick. Avon Vet Center let us come in immediately, took excellent care of my pet, provided us with everything we needed (including medication, probiotics, special food, etc.) to continue our trip. Within an hour and a half, our pet was feeling better. I was surprised the bill wasn't higher due to all they did for us. We have had pets for 35 years in another state and this was the best experience we have ever had at a vet.
Great service and loving staff. Overall fantastic visit!
