Awesome counsellor. Best therapist and best psychologist I've ever seen, after 20 years and about 25 different individuals. Far better than your average psychiatrist or mental healthcare professional. I think the Psy.D doctorate she has from Stanford is FAR superior to the regular PhD doctorate, in my experience -- research the difference and you'll see why this is the very highest degree one can have in clinical therapeutic treatment. 4-7 years of clinical study & interning AFTER getting a Master's in Psychology! Incredible!!!!! I was so sick of Dr's (counselor's) who were SORT OF attentive.. Had SOME ideas... Dr Burnett' is amazingly insightful, and so on target. And she could care less about the time clock, she is more focused on the issue at hand. My wife and I went for marriage counselling beginning first of 2013 and have had great results.. And it is not that we are necessarily doing GREAT as a couple but we now know where we need to focus and have the skills and tactics we have always lacked.
