I have not personally been a client of this therapist so my feedback is based on her interactions with people close to me. From my perspective, Deborah appears to show a bias in communication, leaning more toward one parent versus another. This impression comes from both the wording she uses and the way she engages (or does not engage) in communication. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Deborah Woods and her therapy services. Our 4-year-old son had never spoken a single word at school, and was nearly asked to leave his pre-K program simply because he wouldn’t talk. After just 3–4 sessions with Deborah, he had started gaining confidence and speaking in class. I knew it had to work, but I also was skeptical of how play therapy would help him talk. It did! Ms. Deborah was fantastic to work with! We noticed our son gain more confidence with each session and has had so much more success in school with behavior. We trusted the process and very happy with the results! I partly paid for services, which were incomplete as I had determined that the play therapy services Deborah offered did not suite my child. I always showed respect and gracefully bowed out of continuing with Deborah. I simply asked for a refund as I had paid for a certain amount of therapy sessions and only completed half. She refused to have any kind of communication with me and I have yet to receive a refund.
