She is one of the most thorough caring doctors I've had! I told her I was having undiagnosed problems with blood sugar and she was the only doctor who tested glucose, hemoglobin a1c AND INSULIN. She even did an EKG on me to ensure my heart was fine and a whole host of other tests. Only a year later (with a seperate doctor due to loss of insurance) did I learn that I had insulin resistance and those tests were extremely valuable to show my progress since. Yesterday I had my first visit with Dr. Fung. She is a pleasant, caring, knowledgeable physician. She took her time with me, explained everything to me and listened to whatever I had to say. She made my visit a pleasant experience and I look forward to continuing seeing her in the future.
