She seems like a very strict, goes by the book too much kind of therapist. I was disappointed that she implied that after previous years of counseling I already have whatever tools I need to feel ok. Obviously if that were the case I wouldn't be seeking counseling and help..that's so minimizing of my needs and my being there at all. Worst of all she doesn't allow restroom use and there's no restrooms near the building, so what are people supposed to do then?? That's pretty awful in my opinion.
Went through a very rough patch with several family members and Deb was great. Gave wonderful advice and was spot on, like spooky spot on about my situation. Also recommended additional reading which has been very helpful for myself and my spouse. She calls you out on your own BS no problem, which is what I needed to hear. I can see how someone who was not willing to explore if they are contributing to their own problems would find it unpleasant. Highly recommend.
Ms. Deborah Corona is an excellent family therapist and I would highly recommend her. She is very experienced in her field of work, along with being very professional.
