Dearborn Farms: fresh and friendly Dearborn Farms is a fabulous farmer's market that offers a lot of organic food options. It also contains a deli with catering and a bakery that specializes in Italian pastries. In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, Dearborn also has a lot of unique foods that can't always be found in your local grocery such as dried figs and organic blue corn chips. PROS: Friendly staff and great food CONS: Some of the specialty items can get expensive.
great butchers Well, I'm all for deals and cheaper markets, and Dearborn is on the more expensive side. On the other hand, when I had to find a good butchers in Hazlet, Dearborn Market is tops. Their beef and pork made my last barbeque, according to my guests, spectacular--I've never had a gathering before where people "needed" to stuff themselves.
