Dr Dean was incredibly dismissive and condescending. I have since been referred to another rheumatologist for a 2nd opinion (which Dr Dean welcomed me to get). My eye doctor has since sent me to an eye specialist. The specialist is near certain that the scaring in my eye is the result of prolonged dry eye and inflammation resulting from an autoimmune illness.
