Dr. Sukin is a consummate professional. His bedside manner is respectful, efficient without rush, and combined just the right level of authority with thoughtful open-mindedness to make me feel truly cared for and able to explore my options. Dr. Sukin was quick to determine that the best surgical outcome would require transferring me to another location, and was able to liaise with a specialist there to arrange for me to be seen very promptly. In the meantime, he performed a complex stabilizing surgery that was extremely succ... read more

Dr Sukin did my knee and I had to have it redone 9 months later. He used the wrong size prosthetic. It was too large and caused pain. My knee was also 15 degrees off of my natural alignment. I talked to three other surgeons who all agreed that the prosthetic was too large and it was 13 - 15 degrees out of alignment which put pressure on my hips and back. Also when I walked my surgical knee crossed midline and ran into my other knee. I do not recommend him.

Dr Sukin replaced my husband knee 2 years ago and the results are amazing. My husband's knee was bone on bone and very bow-legged creating not only pain but alignment issues with his hip and back. His knee is completely pain free & all of his hip and back issues no longer exist!! His other knee was done with another surgeon without great results. We will not go to any other orthopedic surgeon but Dr. Sukin.

Dean Sukin replaced my knee in Oct 2022. He put in a prosthetic that was too big. I had a 1cm overhang on the bottom plate causing me pain in the back of my knee. Turns out my fibula had grown into the plate. That is not supposed to happen. My knee was also 13 degrees out of my natural alignment after surgery. I got 3 second opinions from surgeons in MT and UT. All three indicated I needed a total knee revision. When I told the three surgeons about Dr. Sukin's solutions to my knee issues all three indicated that his recommen... read more
