They were able to see my pocket pet quickly. Their booking was easy and straight forward. The checkup and consultation was straight forward, helpful, and caring. The vet explained my pet's illness clearly and empathically and explained all options to help me choose the best path forward for our family pet.
I've got a variety of furry and scaley pets. Dr. Christina and Dr. Parkinson are absolutely phenomenal. I had originally went with my lop ear rabbit (highly recommended by Amy's). Dr. Christina did 3 seperate surgeries on her and she lived to an old age. I switched my dog from another clinic to DP. Dr. Parkinson was her main vet. My dog was riddled with tumors, I don't even remember how many surgeries she's gone there for. Her last surgery being the most remarkable. It was after hours and an absolute emergency. Went there for a general checkup and questions about food and environmental allergies. My appointment cost me $150 for basically a salesperson speech pushing fears and vaccinations on me and my dog, disregarding my own questions and feelings about them. Such a waste of time and money. She didn’t even give my dog a thorough examination. Didn’t check heart, teeth or paws. Just a fear speech about rabies etc. for $150. Obviously not in it for animal health but $$$ for them. Sadly this is BC healthcare now.
