Should have trusted my gut. Took it to a reputable mechanic after purchase. Turns out the head gasket is blown. Written under valve cover. The mechanic said signs show that they cleared the codes to pass inspection. My fault for trusting this guy.

1.) the entire building smells like smoke, don’t go inside if you have breathing issues. 2.) I am female, and brought a male with me, when I asked questions, he answered the male, who was my UBER driver. Completely rude and disrespectful. Females beware.
